Nursing Students’ Perceived Effective Clinical Teachers’ Behaviors

Clinical teaching is a core component of nursing education. The clinical teachers’ roles and responsibilities are to supervise activities empower students gain competency skills. students’ perspective effective behavior an important indicator facilitating improving education quality. This paper explored diploma perceived importance in helping their learning. A total 165 from various levels program Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) were invited participate. self-administered questionnaire was employed collect demographic data students' perceptions teacher behaviors on learning outcomes using the Nursing Teaching Effectiveness Inventory (NCTEI). study results indicated that evaluation as most behavior, while personal characteristics least behavior. showed significant positive relationship between frequency used level for all five criteria. information can be improve faculty awareness views performance guide instructor develop revise approach setting. Behavior should incorporated into practice, thereby maximizing experiences setting.
